Kids first. Conflict second. Always.
I’m Mike Scozzari — an empathetic leader, family advocate, and coach. As the child of divorce raised by a single parent, I bring lived experience, patience, and practical tools to help parents reduce conflict and communicate better. I work with families one-on-one and in small groups to create routines, agreements, and skills that put children’s wellbeing at the center.

What I do
I work with families as a private, neutral parenting/co-parenting coach. In New Jersey, parents may select a coordinator or neutral they trust, even if that person is not on the statewide roster. For court-appointed parenting coordination under Rule 5:8D, I am pursuing the required NJ training.

FAQs
Is this therapy or legal advice?
No. This is coaching/facilitation focused on communication and routines. I can coordinate with therapists/attorneys if you wish.
Do you meet with both parents together?
Yes, with shared ground rules and equal voice. I also meet 1:1 when helpful.
What do we get after a session?
A brief recap with agreements, scripts, tools, and next steps.
Can you testify in court?
No, I don’t provide forensic evaluations or expert testimony. I can provide attendance letters upon request.
Are you a certified parent coordinator?
Not yet. I am currently pursuing New Jersey parenting coordination training in accordance with Court Rule 5:8D.
Why should I choose you?
I've been there. Becoming a parental coordinator was never something I thought about doing professionally, until I realized how passionate I was about helping families navigate through tough times. As a child of divorce and a friend to divorcee couples, my approach is calm and logical, which is what most families need in these times.
Please note: Parent counseling/coaching services are educational and facilitative in nature and not psychotherapy, medical care, or legal advice. If you need those services, I’m happy to refer you to licensed professionals.
